Car
If you are driving, start from the Doi Inthanon National Park entrance. Head south on Highway 108 for about 20 kilometers. Look for the sign for Ban Luang and take a right turn onto the road leading to GM28+QCV. Continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see the waterfall signpost and a parking area. The waterfall is a short walk from the parking area.
Public Transport
To reach Wang Khwai Waterfall using public transportation, first take a local songthaew (red truck taxi) from Chom Thong to Doi Inthanon National Park. The fare is around 50-100 THB per person. Once at the park entrance, you can hire another songthaew to take you directly to the waterfall area for an additional cost of approximately 200-300 THB. Be sure to confirm the price before getting in. The waterfall is a short walk from where the songthaew drops you off.
Bicycle
For those feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Doi Inthanon. Start from the Doi Inthanon National Park entrance and ride south on Highway 108. After about 20 kilometers, turn onto the road leading to GM28+QCV. The ride will take you through beautiful scenery, but prepare for some hilly sections. Ensure you have enough water and snacks for the journey. The waterfall is a short walk from the nearest parking area.
