Car
If you are driving to the Dong Son Tent Area, start from the center of Doi Inthanon National Park. Head south on Highway 108 towards Chom Thong. After approximately 10 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to Ban Luang. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the coordinates GGRF+V9V, which is the location of Dong Son Tent Area. There is a parking area available nearby.

Public Transportation
To reach the Dong Son Tent Area via public transportation, take a local bus from the main terminal in Doi Inthanon to Chom Thong. The bus fare is approximately 30-50 THB. Once you arrive in Chom Thong, you can hire a songthaew (a shared taxi) heading towards Ban Luang. The fare for this is around 100-150 THB. Inform the driver that you want to go to Dong Son Tent Area, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, it’s a short walk to the tent area.

If you prefer a more direct method, you can hire a taxi from Doi Inthanon to the Dong Son Tent Area. The fare will vary but expect to pay around 500-700 THB for a one-way trip. Make sure to agree on the price before starting your journey. The taxi can drop you off right at the entrance of the tent area.
