Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main road in Doi Inthanon National Park. Head south on Highway 1009, following the signs to the Kew Mae Pan Viewpoint. After approximately 15 km, you will see the entrance to the viewpoint on your left. There is a parking area available. Note that there is a small entrance fee for the national park, typically around 300 THB per vehicle.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a songthaew (shared taxi) from Chom Thong to Doi Inthanon National Park. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Kew Mae Pan Viewpoint. The fare is usually around 100-150 THB per person, and the journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the entrance of the viewpoint, you may need to walk a short distance to access the viewpoint itself.
Hiking
If you prefer hiking, you can start from the Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail located near the entrance of the viewpoint. The trail is well-marked and takes about 1-2 hours to hike up to the viewpoint, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry enough water. There is no additional cost for hiking, but it is advisable to check the weather conditions beforehand as the trail can be slippery during the rainy season.
