Chiang Mai: Doi Inthanon, Waterfalls, and Hill Tribe Village

Memorable Trip thanks to our tour guide.

I think our tour guide really makes the difference for whole day trip experience. She is well versed in both English & Mandarin and conduct herself and guided her trainee guide most professionally. Every stop(6 in total) is well organized and she is most accommodating and knowledgeable on the places of visit. The best part she didnt asked or demanded for tips for herself nor the driver whom we expected to from most tour guide. She also does not hard sell to buy any souvenirs at the places where it was sold. In fact. I forgotten to tip her which I wanted to as we will in a hurry to drop off at our requested place instead of our hotel. So the least I could do for her is this Good review which I seldom compliment the tour guide.

Full Day Doi Inthanon and Pha Dok Siew Trek from Chiang Mai

A rewarding day for anyone who enjoys nature

The walk had some challenging parts, yet the scenery kept me motivated. Seeing the waterfalls and mountain views made the effort worthwhile. I only wish we had a little longer at a few stops.

Doi Inthanon Waterfalls Rice Fields Tour from Chiang Mai

A full day of waterfalls, fields and mountain views

This trip suited me because I wanted to see more than one type of scenery in a single day. The waterfalls and rice field setting gave the tour a good balance, and the mountain area made it feel very different from central Chiang Mai. There was more walking than I first expected, so comfortable shoes are a good idea. I also appreciated that the day was focused on nature rather than shopping stops. For a first visit to Doi Inthanon, it was a practical way to experience several landscapes without planning every section myself.
