Car
If you're driving to Angkaew Reservoir, start from the main entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. Head towards the road that leads up to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep and continue straight. Follow the signs to the university area; you will be on Huai Kaew Road. After about 5 kilometers, take a left onto Sukhothai 5 Alley. The reservoir will be on your right. Look out for the sign indicating Angkaew Reservoir. Parking is available near the entrance.

Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
To reach Angkaew Reservoir via songthaew, find a songthaew heading towards Chiang Mai University. Board the songthaew from the designated stops, such as near the Old City or the Night Bazaar. Inform the driver that you are going to Angkaew Reservoir or Chiang Mai University. The songthaew will drop you off at the nearest point to the reservoir. From there, it’s a short walk to the reservoir. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB per person.

Motorbike Taxi
For a quicker option, you can take a motorbike taxi from anywhere in the vicinity of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. Request a ride to Angkaew Reservoir, and the driver will navigate the quickest route for you. The fare will depend on the distance, but expect to pay around 100-150 THB. Make sure to wear a helmet for safety.

Walking
If you're already at Chiang Mai University, you can easily walk to Angkaew Reservoir. Exit from the main gate of the university and walk towards Sukhothai 5 Alley. The reservoir is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the university's entrance. Follow the signs and the walking paths leading to the reservoir.
