After you enter the park, follow the road until you see a sign for Huai Kaeo Trail. Look for parking areas near the trailhead, which should be easily accessible.

    To reach Huai Kaeo Trail using public transportation, take a songthaew (red truck) from the Chiang Mai city center to the Doi Suthep area. The fare is usually around 30-40 THB per person. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. Once you arrive, you will have to pay the entry fee (30 THB for Thai residents, 100 THB for foreigners). From the entrance, you can either walk or take another songthaew to the trailhead. The walk is about 1 km along the road.
