If you are driving, head towards Doi Suthep-Pui National Park from Chiang Mai city center. Follow the signs to Doi Suthep. Once you reach the entrance of the national park, there is a fee for vehicle entry, which is approximately 30 THB for Thai residents and 100 THB for foreign tourists. After you enter the park, follow the road until you see a sign for Huai Kaeo Trail. Look for parking areas near the trailhead, which should be easily accessible.

Public Transportation
To reach Huai Kaeo Trail using public transportation, take a songthaew (red truck) from the Chiang Mai city center to the Doi Suthep area. The fare is usually around 30-40 THB per person. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. Once you arrive, you will have to pay the entry fee (30 THB for Thai residents, 100 THB for foreigners). From the entrance, you can either walk or take another songthaew to the trailhead. The walk is about 1 km along the road.
