Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Rayong City. Head east on Sukhumvit Road (Route 3) towards Klaeng. After approximately 30 kilometers, turn left onto Route 3145 towards Ao Phai. Follow the signs and drive for about 15 kilometers until you reach the beach. There is minimal toll cost on this route.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Rayong Bus Terminal to Klaeng. Buses leave regularly and the fare is around 50-60 THB. Once you arrive in Klaeng, you can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Ao Phai, which will cost about 30 THB and takes about 20 minutes.
Taxi or Ride-hailing
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a ride-hailing service like Grab. This option is more expensive, with fares ranging from 500 to 800 THB depending on your starting point in Rayong, but it provides convenience and comfort directly to Ao Phai.
