Car
If you're driving from the Golden Triangle area, head south on Route 1 (AH2) towards Chiang Rai. After approximately 30 kilometers, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Mae Kachan Hot Spring. Turn left onto Route 118 and continue for about 12 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the hot spring, which will be on your left. The hot spring is located at Moo 6, Pha Soet Phatthana Village in Doi Hang, Chiang Rai.

To reach Mae Kachan Hot Spring by public transport, take a minivan from the Golden Triangle to Chiang Rai. The minivans depart frequently from the main transport station. Once in Chiang Rai, you can catch a local songthaew (shared taxi) heading towards Doi Hang. Inform the driver of your destination (Mae Kachan Hot Spring) and pay the fare, which is usually around 30-50 THB. The hot spring is about 20 kilometers from Chiang Rai city center, and the driver will let you off at the entrance.
