Songthaew
From Hua Hin, make your way to the Hua Hin Bus Station located on Phetkasem Road, near Soi 88. Once there, look for a songthaew (a shared taxi truck) heading towards Pranburi or Pak Nam Pran. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop at Khao To Tao or close to it. The fare is typically around 20-30 THB. The songthaew will drop you off at the nearest point to Khao To Tao.

Motorbike Taxi
If you're looking for a faster option, once you arrive at the bus station or if you are already in town, you can find a motorbike taxi. Negotiate the price with the driver before you set off; it should be around 100-150 THB for a ride to Khao To Tao. The driver will take you directly to the foot of the mountain.

Bicycle Rental
For the adventurous, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops in Hua Hin. Head south on Phetkasem Road until you reach the route towards Khao To Tao. The journey can take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your cycling speed. Follow the signs towards Khao To Tao, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Be prepared for some steep sections as you approach the mountain.

Walking
If you are feeling very adventurous and physically fit, you can choose to walk. Starting from the Hua Hin city center, head south on Phetkasem Road and follow the signs towards Khao To Tao. It's a long trek, around 15 kilometers, which can take approximately 4-5 hours. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, and wear comfortable shoes.
