Car
If you're driving from Khao Sok National Park, take Route 401 towards Takua Pa. Continue for about 40 km until you reach a junction near the town of Takua Pa. At the junction, turn left onto Route 4. After approximately 10 km, you'll see signs for Khuekkhak. Turn right onto Soi Nam Tok Sai Rung (Waterfall Road) and continue for about 2 km. The sanctuary will be on your left at 77 Soi Nam Tok Sai Rung.

Public Transportation
To reach Khaolak Elephant Sanctuary using public transport, start at any point within Khao Sok National Park and take a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Takua Pa. The fare is typically around 50-100 THB per person. Once you arrive in Takua Pa, you can take another songthaew heading towards Khao Lak. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Khuekkhak. This leg will cost around 30-50 THB. After arriving at Khuekkhak, walk approximately 2 km along Soi Nam Tok Sai Rung, where you'll find the sanctuary on your left at 77 Soi Nam Tok Sai Rung.

For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Khao Sok National Park to Khaolak Elephant Sanctuary. This will be the most comfortable option, especially if traveling in a group. The fare is generally around 800-1,200 THB depending on negotiations and traffic. The taxi will take you directly to 77 Soi Nam Tok Sai Rung, making the journey approximately 1 hour.
