Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Thong Sala, head north on Route 4171. Continue for approximately 10 km until you reach the intersection near Ban Chalok Lam. Turn left onto Route 4170 and follow the signs. After about 2 km, you'll arrive at Ban Chalok Lam. There is parking available along the beach. Make sure to have some local currency for any parking fees.

• Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  From Thong Sala, you can catch a Songthaew (shared taxi) heading to Ban Chalok Lam. The fare is about 50 THB per person. The Songthaew will drop you off near the beach area. Make sure to tell the driver your destination clearly. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes.

• Motorbike Rental

  For those who prefer to explore on their own, renting a motorbike can be a great option. Rental shops are plentiful in Thong Sala, and prices start from around 150 THB per day. After renting, head north on Route 4171, then turn left onto Route 4170. Follow the road for around 2 km until you reach Ban Chalok Lam. Remember to wear a helmet and drive carefully.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to enjoy the scenic route, consider renting a bicycle in Thong Sala. Prices typically start at 100 THB per day. The journey will take longer, approximately 1 hour, as you navigate through the roads. Follow Route 4171 northward, and then turn left onto Route 4170 to reach Ban Chalok Lam.

• Private Taxi

  For a more comfortable and direct option, you can hire a private taxi from Thong Sala to Ban Chalok Lam. The fare is usually around 600-800 THB. This journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. It's advisable to negotiate the price beforehand.
