Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Thong Sala, the main town of Koh Phangan. From Thong Sala, take Route 4199 heading northeast. Continue on this road for about 10 km until you reach the intersection with Unnamed Road. Turn left onto Unnamed Road. Follow this road for about 2 km, and you will see signs indicating the direction to Had Son Overlook. The parking area is located close to the viewpoint.

• Public Transportation (Songthaew)

  To reach Had Son Overlook using public transportation, take a songthaew (shared taxi) from Thong Sala. Look for a songthaew that is heading towards Chaloklum or Haad Yuan. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Had Son Overlook. The fare is usually around 50-100 THB per person, depending on your negotiation skills and traffic. The driver will drop you off close to the viewpoint. From there, it is a short walk to the actual overlook.

• Motorbike Rental

  For those who are adventurous, renting a motorbike is a great option. You can rent a motorbike in Thong Sala for about 150-300 THB per day. Once you have your bike, follow the same route as the car instructions: take Route 4199 northeast from Thong Sala, turn left onto Unnamed Road after about 10 km, and continue for 2 km. There are signs along the way. Make sure to wear a helmet and drive safely, as some roads can be steep and winding.
