Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Thong Sala, the main port town. Head north on Route 4199 towards Haad Yuan Beach. After approximately 8 km, look for a sign indicating a right turn for the Standing Stones. Follow the road until you reach the parking area. Be cautious as the roads can be narrow and winding.

• Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  From Thong Sala, you can take a songthaew to Haad Yuan Beach. The fare is around 100-150 THB ($3-5 USD) per person. Once you reach Haad Yuan, ask the driver to drop you off near the sign for the Standing Stones. From there, it's about a 10-15 minute walk. The path may be unpaved, so wear comfortable shoes.

• Motorbike Rental

  For a more adventurous route, consider renting a motorbike in Koh Phangan. Rental prices typically range from 150-300 THB ($5-10 USD) per day. Start from Thong Sala, head north on Route 4199, and follow the same directions as for cars. The ride is scenic, but be cautious of the road conditions and local traffic.

• Walking

  If you're staying near Haad Yuan, you can walk to the Standing Stones. The walk is about 30 minutes from the beach. Follow the coastal path and then take a right towards the inland area where the stones are located. Ensure you have good footwear, as the terrain can be uneven.
