If you are driving a car, you can start from Thong Sala, the main port town in Koh Phangan. Head north on the main road (Route 4171) towards Chaloklum. After approximately 8 km, look for signs directing you to Ban Tai, where Sunset Beach is located. Turn right onto the road leading to Ban Tai and follow the road until you reach the beach area. There are limited parking options directly at Sunset Beach, so be prepared to park nearby and walk to the beach.

Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
To reach Sunset Beach by public transportation, you can hop on a songthaew from Thong Sala. These shared taxis are a common way to get around the island. Look for a songthaew heading to Ban Tai; the fare is typically around 100 THB per person. Let the driver know you want to get off at Sunset Beach, and they will drop you off close to the beach area. Be prepared for a short walk from where the songthaew stops to the beach.

Motorbike Rental
Renting a motorbike is a popular way to explore Koh Phangan. You can rent a motorbike in Thong Sala for about 150-300 THB per day. Once you have your bike, head north on Route 4171 towards Ban Tai. After approximately 8 km, turn onto the road leading to the beach. Make sure to drive carefully as the roads can be winding and steep in some areas. Parking may be available near the beach, so be aware of any local parking guidelines.
