From your accommodation in Koh Samui, head to the nearest road where you can catch a songthaew (shared taxi). Look for the ones heading to 'Haad Yao' or 'Ko Pha-ngan'. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to Haad Yao beach. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic and your starting location. Once you arrive at Haad Yao, the 7-11 shop will be easily visible along the main road.

If you are starting from Koh Samui, take a ferry to Ko Pha-ngan. The ferry departs from either Nathon Pier or Maenam Pier. Once you arrive at Thong Sala Pier on Ko Pha-ngan, you can catch a songthaew to Haad Yao. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes. Just inform the driver that you want to go to Haad Yao beach, and they will drop you off close to the 7-11 shop.
