Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Phuket Town. From the town center, navigate to Patiphat Road (145/5 Patiphat Rd, Tambon Wichit, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83000). Khao Rang is located on this road. Ensure to follow the signs for Khao Rang Hill, which is a well-known viewpoint. There are parking facilities available near the entrance. Expect to pay a small parking fee, usually around 20-50 THB.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a local bus or a songthaew (shared taxi) from Phuket Town to Wichit. You can catch these vehicles from the main bus terminal or any central location in Phuket Town. Inform the driver that you want to go to Khao Rang or Patiphat Road. The fare is usually about 30-50 THB. Once you arrive at Patiphat Road, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance of Khao Rang.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Khao Rang, you can simply walk to the entrance. The area is pedestrian-friendly, and you will find signs directing you to the viewpoint. The walk can be a bit steep in parts, so wear comfortable shoes.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can also hire a taxi from anywhere in Phuket. Just tell the driver to take you to Khao Rang, and they will know the way. The cost will vary based on your starting location, but expect to pay around 200-400 THB for a one-way trip from Phuket Town.
Use Tower Bridge as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
