Songthaew
From your location in Koh Samui, find the nearest songthaew stop, which is typically located on main roads. Take a songthaew heading to the ferry pier for Koh Pha-ngan. The fare is usually around 100-200 baht. Once you arrive at the ferry pier, purchase a ticket for the next ferry to Koh Pha-ngan. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Koh Pha-ngan, you can either take another songthaew or rent a scooter to reach the Yang Na Yai Tree, which is located in Ban Tai. Look for signs indicating the tree farm once you get closer.
Taxi
You can also opt for a taxi from your location in Koh Samui. Simply ask your hotel or a local to call a taxi for you. Provide the driver with the address: P24H+4HC, Unnamed Rd, Ban Tai, Ko Pha-ngan District, Surat Thani 84280. The taxi will take you to the ferry pier, where you can buy a ticket for the ferry to Koh Pha-ngan. The ferry ride lasts about 30 minutes. Once you disembark on Koh Pha-ngan, you can either continue with the taxi service or arrange for a local taxi to take you directly to the Yang Na Yai Tree.
Ferry
If you are near the ferry pier in Koh Samui, go directly to the pier and buy your ticket to Koh Pha-ngan. The ferry departs regularly throughout the day, so you won’t have to wait long. Once on Koh Pha-ngan, you can either hire a local taxi or take a songthaew to Ban Tai. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to go to the Yang Na Yai Tree. They will drop you off close to the location. Look for local signs to guide you.
