Getting There

Songthaew
From any point in Bophut, head to the main road (Route 4171). Look for a Songthaew, which is a shared taxi truck, heading towards Namuang. These are usually marked with a sign indicating their route. The fare is around 30-50 THB per person. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to go to Samui Elephant Kingdom Sanctuary.

Motorbike Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi. Look for a designated motorbike taxi stand or simply flag one down. The ride should cost around 100-150 THB. Provide the driver with the address: 25/11 Moo 2, Namuang. The driver will take you directly to the sanctuary.

Walking from the nearest Songthaew stop
If you take a Songthaew, you will likely be dropped off at a nearby junction. From there, walk towards the sanctuary, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Follow the signs to Namuang Waterfall; the sanctuary is close to this landmark. Keep an eye out for the entrance sign for Samui Elephant Kingdom Sanctuary.
