Getting There

• Walking

  From Chaweng Beach, head south towards the main road (Road 4169). Walk along the beach until you reach the main road, which should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you reach Road 4169, turn left and continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for local signs pointing towards 'Buddha's Footprint' as you approach the area.

• Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  If you prefer not to walk, you can take a Songthaew from Chaweng. Head to the nearest Songthaew pickup point, usually found along the main road. Look for a Songthaew heading toward Na Mueang or the Big Buddha area. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB per person. Let the driver know you're going to 'Buddha's Footprint' or 'Na Mueang,' and they will drop you off near the entrance. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

• Motorbike Taxi

  Another option is to use a motorbike taxi, which can be found all over Chaweng. Approach a motorbike taxi driver and inform them that you want to go to 'Buddha's Footprint.' The fare will generally be around 100-150 THB depending on your negotiation skills. The ride will be quicker, taking approximately 10-15 minutes, and will take you directly to the site.

• Bicycle Rental

  For a more active route, consider renting a bicycle. Many shops in Chaweng offer rental services for about 150-200 THB per day. After renting a bicycle, head towards Road 4169 and cycle south. Follow the same route as walking; it's about 1.5 kilometers. Cycling will allow you to enjoy the scenery and make stops along the way if you wish.
