The fare typically ranges from 100 to 200 Thai Baht, depending on your starting location. The ride should take around 5 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.

• Motorbike Rental

  If you prefer to explore Koh Tao on your own, consider renting a motorbike. Many shops in Koh Tao offer rentals for about 150 to 300 Thai Baht per day. Once you have your bike, navigate towards Baan Mae Haad Beach. Look for signs leading to Turtle Welcome Tours, which is close to the beach area. Ensure you have a valid driver’s license and wear a helmet for safety.

• Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  You can also use a songthaew, which is a shared taxi service available throughout Koh Tao. Wait for a songthaew on the main roads; they usually have a set route.
