Getting There

Boat
From Krabi Town, head to the Krabi Pier (also known as Klong Jilad Pier). You can take a songthaew (local shared taxi) from the town center to the pier, which will cost around 50 THB and take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once at the pier, look for ferries heading to Phi Phi Islands. Check the schedule as boats typically leave in the morning and may vary by day. Purchase your ticket (around 400-600 THB) and board the ferry, which will take about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Phi Phi Don Island.

Longtail Boat
Upon arrival at Phi Phi Don, you will need to take a longtail boat to reach Checkpoint Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. Head to the beach area where longtail boats are docked. Negotiate the fare with the boat operators; a typical rate is around 1,500 to 2,000 THB for a private longtail boat, which can accommodate up to 4-6 people. The boat ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to specify you want to go to the Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park checkpoint.
