The ride will take around 20-30 minutes depending on the sea conditions. You will be dropped off near the entrance to Klong Root, where you can follow the footpath leading to the clear water canal.

If you are in Railay Beach, you can take a long-tail boat directly to Klong Root. Walk to Railay East Beach and find a boat operator. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. You will arrive close to the canal. Follow the signs or ask the boat driver for directions to reach the entrance.

Bike or Walk from Krabi Town
From Krabi Town, rent a bicycle or walk to Klong Root. Start by heading towards the Krabi River and follow the scenic route along the riverbank. The distance is about 10 km, so biking is recommended. After about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace, you will reach Nong Thale. Look for signs indicating the entrance to Klong Root, which is located at 593, Nong Thale.
