Turn left onto Route 1096 and follow the signs for Mae Raem. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see signs for the Thai Elephant Care Center on your left. The total drive will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

    From central Chiang Mai, head to the Warorot Market area where you can find Songthaew (shared taxis) heading to Mae Rim. Look for the ones marked 'Mae Rim' and hop on.
