Walking
If you are starting from the Mae Hong Son Walking Street, head west towards the intersection at Chao Fa Road. Turn left onto Chao Fa Road and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will pass several local shops and cafés along the way. After reaching the intersection, turn right onto Chong Kham Road. Continue for another 300 meters, and you will see Mae Hong Son Gate on your left. It's a recognizable structure, so you shouldn't miss it.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Mae Hong Son town center. Cycle north on the main road until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection of Chao Fa Road. Turn left at the lights onto Chao Fa Road and bike for about 500 meters. Once you reach the next intersection, turn right onto Chong Kham Road. Continue cycling for about 300 meters, and Mae Hong Son Gate will be on your left. Look for the large, decorative gate structure.
Tuk-Tuk
To reach Mae Hong Son Gate by tuk-tuk, find a tuk-tuk stand in the town center. Tell the driver you want to go to Mae Hong Son Gate, which is a well-known landmark. The driver will take you to the gate, which is approximately 1.5 kilometers from the center. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Enjoy the local scenery on your way!
