Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Pai, head towards the Pai River and cross the bridge. Continue straight along the main road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road to Thung Yao. Turn left onto this road and follow it for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Doi Miang. After 3 kilometers, you will see a path leading to Doi Miang on your right. Follow this path up the hill for about 500 meters until you arrive at Doi Miang.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Pai. Start by heading towards the Pai River and cross the bridge. Continue on the main road for about 1.5 kilometers. At the intersection with the Thung Yao road, turn left. Ride for around 3 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Look for the path to Doi Miang on your right. Turn onto this path and cycle up the hill for about 500 meters until you reach Doi Miang.

  • Motorbike

    If you can rent a motorbike, head out from Pai town towards the Pai River and cross the bridge. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Thung Yao intersection. Turn left here. Follow this road for roughly 3 kilometers. Watch for signage for Doi Miang on your right. When you spot the path to Doi Miang, turn onto it and ride uphill for about 500 meters until you reach your destination.

  • Songthaew (shared taxi)

    Find a songthaew at one of the main pickup points in Pai. Let the driver know you want to go to Doi Miang or to the Thung Yao area. The ride will take you to the intersection with the Thung Yao road. Once you arrive, you will need to walk or cycle the remaining 3 kilometers along the Thung Yao road. Keep an eye out for the path leading to Doi Miang on your right, then follow it uphill for about 500 meters to reach your destination.
