Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in Central Pattaya, the easiest option is to walk to the Pattaya City Sign. Start at the intersection of Beach Road and Second Road, which is a central point. Head north along Beach Road. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the Pattaya City Sign located on the hill, just before the entrance to the Pattaya Viewpoint. The path may have some steps, but it is well-marked. • Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  You can take a songthaew, which is a shared taxi service, from any point in Central Pattaya. Simply wave down a passing songthaew heading towards North Pattaya. The fare is generally around 10-20 THB per person. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Pattaya City Sign or the viewpoint. The songthaew will drop you off near the base of the hill where the sign is located. From there, it’s a short walk uphill to the sign.

• Motorbike Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi. Look for a motorbike taxi stand or flag one down on the street. The fare to the Pattaya City Sign should be around 30-50 THB, depending on your starting location. Make sure to tell the driver your destination clearly. They will take you as close as possible to the sign, but there may still be a short distance to walk uphill.
