Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Chiang Mai, head west on Huay Kaew Road. After approximately 5 kilometers, turn right onto Suthep Road. Continue for about 4 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. There is a parking area available near the entrance. Please note that there is an entrance fee of 30 THB per person for Thai citizens and 300 THB for foreign tourists.

• Public Bus

  To reach Doi Suthep-Pui National Park via public transportation, take the red songthaew (shared taxi) from Chiang Mai's Old City. Head to the bus station near Wat Phra Singh and look for songthaews heading to Doi Suthep. The fare is approximately 40-50 THB per person. The songthaew will drop you at the entrance of the park, where you can pay the entrance fee of 30 THB for Thai citizens and 300 THB for foreign tourists.

• Motorbike Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can hire a motorbike taxi from the central areas of Chiang Mai. Negotiate a fare, which typically ranges from 100 to 150 THB per person, depending on your starting point. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. Remember to wear a helmet and ensure the driver is experienced.

• Private Taxi

  If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can hire a private taxi. You can book one through various apps or find one at designated taxi stands in Chiang Mai. The fare to Doi Suthep-Pui National Park is usually around 300-500 THB, depending on your starting location. This option allows you to travel at your own pace and enjoy the scenic views.
