If you are driving from Chiang Mai to Mae Kampong Village, take Route 118 from Chiang Mai. Follow the signs towards Doi Saket and then turn onto Route 1006 towards Mae On District. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the village. Look for signage indicating Mae Kampong Village as you approach. The entire journey should take around 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic conditions.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Mae Kampong Village via public transportation, first, make your way to the Chiang Mai Arcade Bus Station. From there, take a bus heading towards Mae On District. The bus ride will take about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Mae On, you will need to take a local songthaew (a shared taxi) or motorbike taxi to Mae Kampong Village. The fare for the songthaew should be around 30-50 THB per person, and the ride will take approximately 20 minutes.
