If you are driving, head to Mae Chai District in Phayao Province. From the center of the Phi Pan Nam Range, take Route 1 (Phahonyothin Road) towards Phayao. After approximately 50 km, turn onto Route 1148 towards Mae Chai. Follow this road for about 25 km until you see signs for Mae Puem National Park. The park entrance is located at 19.3535327 latitude and 99.8672976 longitude. There is a small entrance fee, so have some cash ready.

To reach Mae Puem National Park via public transport, take a bus from the nearest bus station in the Phi Pan Nam Range area to Phayao. Look for buses heading to Mae Chai.
