From any location in the Phi Pan Nam Range, head towards the main road leading out of the national park. Follow the signs for Mueang Phayao District. Once you reach the highway, continue driving for approximately 25 kilometers. Look for signs for Ban Mai; the Mae Yan Waterfall is located at '8P98+4X4, Ban Mai, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao 56000'. You can park your car near the entrance. Note that you may need to pay a small parking fee, which is typically around 20-30 THB.

Public Transportation
To travel by public transportation, first find a local bus or songthaew (shared taxi) from your location in the Phi Pan Nam Range heading towards Mueang Phayao District. The fare will generally be around 30-50 THB depending on your starting point. Once you reach Mueang Phayao, you will need to find another songthaew or a motorbike taxi to take you to the Mae Yan Waterfall. This leg of the journey should cost approximately 50-100 THB. Make sure to tell the driver your destination clearly.
