Turn left onto Route 118 and follow it for approximately 25 km. Once you reach Wiang Pa Pao District, look for signs to Mae Chedi Mai. Turn left onto Mae Chedi Mai Road and follow the road for about 5 km until you see signs for Wat Phra That Mae Chedi. There is limited parking available near the temple.

To reach Wat Phra That Mae Chedi using public transportation, start by taking a local bus or minivan from Chiang Rai Bus Station to Wiang Pa Pao District. The fare is usually around 50-100 THB and the journey takes about 1.5 hours.
