Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Phu Kradueng National Park. From the park entrance, follow the main road into the park. You will need to pay an entrance fee of approximately 200 THB for foreigners and 20 THB for Thai nationals. Continue driving until you reach the parking area near the visitor center. From there, park your vehicle and prepare for a hike.
Hiking
Start your hike from the visitor center, following the marked trails towards Nok Aen Cliff. The path is well-maintained but can be steep in sections. The hike takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the way to Nok Aen Cliff. The cliff is located at VRV2+52M, which is roughly 5 kilometers from the visitor center.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus or a minivan from Loei city to Phu Kradueng. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Phu Kradueng, you can hire a tuk-tuk or a motorcycle taxi to take you to the park entrance. Remember to ask the driver to drop you off at the visitor center. The entrance fee is required, so ensure you have cash ready.
Preparation
Regardless of your mode of transportation, ensure you bring sufficient water, snacks, and appropriate hiking footwear, as the trails can be rugged. It's advisable to start your hike early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise at Nok Aen Cliff and avoid the heat of midday.
