Getting There

  • Car

    From Phu Kradueng, head east on Highway 12 (Loei - Phu Kradueng Road). Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction with Highway 201. Take a right onto Highway 201 and drive for another 10 km until you see the signs for Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary. There will be an entrance on your left. Please note there may be a small entrance fee, typically around 20-50 THB per person.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Phu Kradueng, head to the bus station located in the town center. Look for a bus heading towards Loei town. The journey should take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Loei, you will need to transfer to another bus heading to Phu Ruea. This second bus will take you closer to the sanctuary. Make sure to inform the bus driver of your destination. The total cost for both buses should be around 100-150 THB. Once you get off at Phu Ruea, you may need to take a motorbike taxi or walk approximately 2 km to the sanctuary entrance.
