To reach Ko Lao Ka from Phuket, start by making your way to Rassada Pier in Phuket Town. You can take a local bus (Songthaew) from various parts of Phuket to get to the pier, which usually costs around 30-50 THB. Once you arrive at Rassada Pier, purchase a ticket for a ferry or longtail boat heading towards Krabi. The ferry ride takes about 2-3 hours. Upon arriving at Krabi, you will need to take a taxi or a local tuk-tuk to Ao Nang Beach, which is approximately a 30-minute drive. From Ao Nang Beach, hire a longtail boat directly to Ko Lao Ka. Ensure to negotiate the price before boarding, and the boat ride should take around 15-20 minutes.

Alternatively, you can also take a ferry from Phuket to Railay Beach. Head to Rassada Pier and take a ferry to Railay, which takes about 1.5 hours. Once at Railay Beach, you can hire a longtail boat to Ko Lao Ka. The boat ride from Railay Beach will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Be sure to check the boat schedules, as they may vary depending on the season.
