Boat

To reach Ko Rang Yai, start by making your way to the east coast of Phuket. A popular departure point is from the Bang Rong Pier. From anywhere in Phuket, you can take a local bus or a tuk-tuk to get to Bang Rong Pier. If you're staying in Patong, you can catch a songthaew (shared taxi) to Phuket Town and then transfer to another songthaew heading toward Bang Rong Pier. Once at the pier, buy a ticket for a boat to Ko Rang Yai. The boat ride will take about 30-45 minutes, depending on the sea conditions.

Longtail Boat

An alternative way to reach Ko Rang Yai is by hiring a longtail boat from nearby beaches such as Bang Tao or Surin Beach. You can negotiate a price with the boat operators at the beach. Be sure to agree on the return time as well. The ride will take around 25-35 minutes. Make sure to bring cash for the boat fare and any fees for landing on the island.

Tour Package

Consider joining a tour package that includes a visit to Ko Rang Yai. Many tour companies operate in Phuket, especially around Patong and Phuket Town.
