Tuk-tuk
If you are in Patong Beach, find a tuk-tuk stand or flag down a tuk-tuk on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Kuan im Teng, located at 289 Soi Phutorn in Talat Nuea. The ride should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. When you arrive, the temple will be on your left side. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Local Bus (Songthaew)
From your location in Phuket Town, look for a Songthaew (local bus) heading towards Talat Nuea. They usually depart from the main bus terminal or along the key roads. Confirm with the driver that they stop at Soi Phutorn. The fare is quite cheap, around 20-30 THB. Once you are dropped off, walk a short distance down Soi Phutorn, and you will reach Kuan im Teng on your left.
Walking
If you are already in the Talat Nuea area, you can walk to Kuan im Teng. Start at the intersection of Yaowarat Road and turn onto Soi Phutorn. The temple is located approximately 500 meters down the street. Look for the distinctive architecture of the temple as you approach, and it will be on your left.
Taxi
If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi. Find a taxi stand or request one through a ride-hailing app if available. Provide the driver with the address: 289 Soi Phutorn, Talat Nuea. The drive from areas like Karon or Kata should take around 30 minutes. Make sure to discuss the fare beforehand or ask for the meter to be used.
