Getting There

• Bus

  If you are in Patong, head to the Patong Bus Station located on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road. Look for a local bus heading to Phuket Town (the fare is around 30-50 THB). Once you arrive at the Phuket Town bus terminal, exit the terminal and find a local red songthaew (shared taxi) or motorbike taxi. Inform the driver you want to go to 'Aquarium' or 'Wichit,' and they will take you directly to Phuket Aquarium for about 50-100 THB.

• Songthaew

  From Karon Beach, walk to the main road and look for a songthaew heading towards Phuket Town. The fare is approximately 30-50 THB. Once you arrive in Phuket Town, transfer to another songthaew going to Wichit area. Tell the driver you want to go to the Phuket Aquarium; the fare should be around 20-30 THB.

• Motorbike Taxi

  From Kata Beach, find a motorbike taxi at the main road. Negotiate the fare, which is typically around 150-200 THB. Ask the driver to take you to Phuket Aquarium, located at 51 Moo 8, Sakdidet Road, Wichit. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the nearby Wichit area, you can walk to Phuket Aquarium. Start from the nearest landmark, such as the Wichit Temple, and head south on Sakdidet Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you see the Phuket Aquarium on your left. It should take about 15-20 minutes on foot.
