From your hotel or current location in Patong, walk to the main road where you can catch a Songthaew (local shared taxi). Look for a Songthaew heading towards Phuket Town. Once on board, inform the driver you want to go to Kathu. The fare is around 30-40 THB. Stay on the Songthaew until you reach the main intersection in Kathu. From there, you will need to get off and walk towards W8MX+8QQ, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head straight down the road until you see signs for the Phuket Mining Museum.

If you are near the bus station in Phuket Town, take the public bus that goes to Patong. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at Kathu. The bus fare is approximately 20-30 THB. After getting off, walk straight towards the Phuket Mining Museum, which should be a short 10-15 minute walk away. Look for directional signs along the way.
