Getting there

Tuk-Tuk

If you are in Patong, head to the main road along the beach and look for a Tuk-Tuk stand. You can also hail one from the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Surin Beach in Choeng Thale. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before you get in, typically ranging from 300 to 500 THB.

Songthaew

From any hotel in Kamala, walk to the main road and find a Songthaew (shared taxi) heading towards Cherng Talay. Simply hop on and let the driver know you want to go to Surin Beach. The fare is usually around 30-50 THB, and the journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to the beach, and walk a short distance to reach the shore.

Motorbike Taxi

If you are near Bang Tao Beach, you can find a motorbike taxi at the side of the road. Request to go to Surin Beach. It's a quick ride, approximately 10 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the price beforehand; it should be around 100-150 THB.

Walking

If you are staying in Choeng Thale, you can reach Surin Beach by walking. From the main road, head towards the beach area by following the signs. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the center of Choeng Thale. Enjoy the local scenery as you make your way to the beach.

Bicycle Rental

For a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle from a nearby rental shop in Choeng Thale or Bang Tao. Follow the road signs towards Surin Beach; it's a pleasant ride of about 30 minutes, with beautiful views along the way. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
