Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are starting from Patong Beach, head to the local bus station located at the southern end of the beach near the roundabout. Look for a bus heading to Phuket Town (it is usually marked with a sign indicating 'Phuket Town'). The bus fare is inexpensive, typically around 30 baht. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Phuket Town, you will need to transfer to a local songthaew (shared taxi) or another bus that goes towards Wichit. Ask the driver to drop you off at Saphan Hin Park, which is well-known among locals.

• Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  From your location in Phuket Town, walk to the nearest songthaew stop, often located near the main market or bus station. Look for a songthaew heading towards Wichit. The fare should be around 20-30 baht. Inform the driver that you want to go to Saphan Hin Park. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Saphan Hin is a popular destination, so the driver will likely know where to drop you off.

• Walking

  If you are already near Phuket Town, you can walk to Saphan Hin. Start from the Old Town area and head southeast towards Phuket Rd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Wichit Songkhram Road. Turn right onto Wichit Songkhram Road, and you will see signs directing you to Saphan Hin. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Look out for the large green park area along the coast.

• Bicycle Rental

  Consider renting a bicycle if you are in the Phuket Town area. Many rental shops are available. Once you have your bike, head towards the coast by following Phuket Rd. Take a left onto Wichit Songkhram Road. You will find bike paths in some areas, making it easier to reach Saphan Hin. The ride should take around 15-25 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
