Public Transportation
Start at the Ranong Bus Station (Terminal 1). Take a local bus heading towards Ngao District. The buses usually leave every hour. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Ngao Waterfall stop. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ngao Waterfall stop, walk straight for about 10 minutes along the Unnamed Road. Follow the signs towards the waterfall, and you will reach the entrance.
Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
From any location in Ranong, make your way to the main street where songthaews are available. Look for one that is going to Ngao District. These shared taxis can be boarded from the roadside. The fare is usually around 30-50 Thai Baht. Inform the driver that you want to go to Ngao Waterfall. The ride will take about 30 minutes. After you arrive at the Ngao Waterfall area, walk along the Unnamed Road for about 10 minutes until you see the entrance to the waterfall.
Motorbike Rental
If you prefer more independence, consider renting a motorbike from a rental shop in Ranong. Make sure to have your driving license and helmet. Head out of the city towards the Ngao District by following the signs. The journey is approximately 20 km and will take around 30 minutes. Once you reach the area of Ngao, look for signs that direct you to the Unnamed Road, which leads to the waterfall. Park your motorbike at the designated area near the entrance.
