If you're driving from Chaweng Beach, head south on Route 4169 towards the direction of Lamai Beach. Continue for about 8 km (approximately 15 minutes). As you approach Lamai, keep an eye out for signs pointing to 'Hin Ta Hin Yai' or 'Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks'. Turn right onto the road leading to the rocks, and follow the signs. There is a parking area nearby where you can leave your car. Please note that some parking lots may charge a small fee, typically around 20-50 THB.

Public Transportation
To reach Hin Ta Hin Yai by public transport, you can take a songthaew (shared taxi) from Chaweng Beach or Lamai Beach. Look for a songthaew that has a sign indicating 'Lamai' or 'Hin Ta Hin Yai'. The fare is usually around 30-50 THB per person. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Hin Ta Hin Yai stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the rocks themselves. Be sure to confirm the return schedule with the driver as songthaews may not run frequently after dark.

Motorbike Rental
Another option is to rent a motorbike, which gives you more flexibility. You can rent a motorbike from various shops in Chaweng or Lamai for about 150-300 THB per day. Follow Route 4169 south towards Lamai Beach, and look for the signs for Hin Ta Hin Yai. There is parking available on-site. Make sure to wear a helmet and have a valid driver's license.
