Public Bus
From Samut Prakan, head to the nearest bus station, such as the Samut Prakan Bus Terminal. Look for bus number 36, which will take you directly to Bangkok. Stay on the bus for about 45 minutes, and ask the driver to notify you when you reach the Lumphini Park area. Once you get off, walk a short distance towards the park entrance.
Taxi or Grab
You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Samut Prakan. Just tell the driver 'Lumphini Park in Pathum Wan.' The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Alternatively, you can use the Grab app to book a ride. Simply enter your pickup location and set Lumphini Park as your destination.
BTS Skytrain
To reach Lumphini Park using the BTS Skytrain, go to the nearest BTS station in Samut Prakan, which might be at Bang Na. Take the BTS towards Mo Chit, and transfer at Siam station to the Sukhumvit line. From there, take the train heading towards Bang Wa, and get off at the Sala Daeng station. After exiting the station, it’s a 10-15 minute walk to Lumphini Park. Follow the signs to Silom Road, and you’ll find the park entrance.
