BTS Skytrain
To reach Sky Bar at State Tower, start by finding the nearest BTS Skytrain station in Samut Prakan. Once at the station, board the BTS Skytrain heading towards Mo Chit. You will need to transfer at Siam station. At Siam, switch to the Silom Line (Light Green Line) towards Bang Wa. Travel to the Saphan Taksin station. Take note that the Sky Bar is located in Bangkok, so be sure to have your travel plans in mind. After arriving at Saphan Taksin, take Exit 2 of the station and walk towards the Chao Phraya River. From there, you can catch a boat taxi that will take you to the Sathorn Pier. Once you arrive at Sathorn Pier, exit the pier and head towards the State Tower, which is located nearby. The Sky Bar is situated on the 64th floor of the State Tower.
Taxi or Tuk-tuk
If you prefer a more direct route, you can opt for a taxi or tuk-tuk. Simply find a taxi stand or hail a tuk-tuk from the street. Tell the driver you want to go to 'State Tower, 1055 Si Lom Rd, Bang Rak, Bangkok'. The driver should be familiar with this location. The journey will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at State Tower, take the elevator to the 64th floor to reach Sky Bar.
Bus
You can also take a public bus to get to the Sky Bar. Look for buses that pass through Samut Prakan and head towards Bangkok. The bus routes 511, 556, and 75 are good options. Make sure to check the bus stops and get off at the closest stop to the Sathorn area. After disembarking, you can either walk to the State Tower or take a short taxi ride to reach your destination. It’s approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the State Tower.
