Walking

If you are starting from Surat Thani Railway Station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road (Thung Kha Road). Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the main road (Suan Bua Road). Turn right at the intersection and continue walking for approximately 500 meters. You will see the Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine on your left, near the intersection with Chao Fa Road.

From your location in Surat Thani, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or flag down a tuk-tuk. Tell the driver you want to go to the Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine, located at 48QC+MM6, Tambon Talat. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The shrine is well-known, so the driver should have no trouble finding it.
Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a nearby rental shop. Start from the center of Surat Thani and head towards Thung Kha Road. Cycle straight along Thung Kha Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Suan Bua Road. Turn right and continue cycling for another 500 meters. The Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine will be on your left.
Public Bus

You can take a local bus that operates within Surat Thani. Look for a bus heading towards the city center, and let the conductor know you want to stop at the Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine.
