From Trang city center, head to the Trang Bus Terminal located at Thung Teao Road. You can take a local songthaew or tuk-tuk to reach the terminal. Once at the terminal, look for buses heading towards Sikao or Langu. Confirm with the bus staff that they stop at Hat Chao Mai National Park. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Inform the driver to drop you off at the park entrance.

After reaching Trang Bus Terminal, you can also opt for a songthaew that directly services the route to Hat Chao Mai National Park. They usually wait near the bus terminal. Board the songthaew and let the driver know your destination. The journey will take around 1 hour. Be sure to have some cash ready to pay the fare, which is typically inexpensive.

Motorbike Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi from the city center to Hat Chao Mai National Park. You can find motorbike taxis around popular locations like the Trang Railway Station or the main market. Negotiate a fare with the driver, which usually ranges from 200 to 300 THB. The ride will take approximately 40 minutes to the park.

For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Trang. Head to one of the local bike rental shops, usually found in the city center. Once you have your bike, follow Route 404 to the south towards Sikao District. It's about a 20 km ride, taking roughly 1.5 to 2 hours.
