From Trat town, head to the main bus station (located on Phahonyothin Road). Look for the songthaew (shared taxi) that goes to Laem Klat. The fare should be around 30-50 THB. Inform the driver you want to go to Lan Sai Beach (หาดลานทราย). The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Lan Sai Beach.
Motorbike Taxi
If you prefer a faster option, you can hire a motorbike taxi from Trat town. Negotiate a fare (around 150-200 THB) and provide the driver with the destination: Lan Sai Beach, Laem Klat. The journey will take around 20-30 minutes. Ensure you wear a helmet for safety.
Walking from Laem Klat Pier
If you find yourself at Laem Klat Pier after taking a boat or songthaew, head east along the coastal road. Follow the road for about 1-2 kilometers, which will take you directly to Lan Sai Beach. Look for signs that indicate the beach as you walk.
