Tuk-Tuk
From central Udon Thani, head to the main street (Phon Phisai Road). You can catch a tuk-tuk from anywhere along this road. Tell the driver 'Wat Sunthorn Pradit' or show them the address: 44 ซอย 3 Tambon Mak Khaeng. The fare should be around 30-50 THB depending on your starting point. The driver will take you directly to the temple.
Motorbike Taxi
Locate a motorbike taxi stand in the city center or flag one down on the street. Provide the driver with the destination: Wat Sunthorn Pradit, 44 ซอย 3 Tambon Mak Khaeng. The ride should cost approximately 30-60 THB and will be quicker than a tuk-tuk. Make sure to wear a helmet for safety.
Public Bus
From the Udon Thani Bus Station, take a local bus heading towards Mak Khaeng. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of ซอย 3. From there, walk about 500 meters down the road; you will see the temple on your right. The bus fare is very affordable, often around 15-20 THB.
Walking
If you are staying near the city center, you can walk to Wat Sunthorn Pradit. Start at the Udon Thani City Pillar Shrine and head east on Phon Phisai Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with ซอย 3. Turn right onto ซอย 3, and the temple will be a short walk down on your left.
