    If you are in the center of Udon Thani, head towards the main road, Phosri Road. Walk along Phosri Road heading southeast until you reach the intersection with Th Maharat Road. Turn left onto Th Maharat Road and continue straight. You will see the City Pillar Shrine (San Lak Mueang) on your right side after approximately 1 kilometer. The shrine is located near the Udon Thani City Hall, making it a prominent landmark.

    Find a tuk-tuk or a motorcycle taxi at any nearby stand or hail one from the street. Tell the driver you want to go to 'San Lak Mueang' or 'City Pillar Shrine' (you can show them the address: 41000 Mueang Udon Thani District). The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off directly at the shrine, which is easily visible from the road.
