From the center of Udon Thani, head to the main tuk-tuk station near the Udon Thani City Museum. You can easily find a tuk-tuk driver who can take you to Wat Sunthorn Pradit. Show them the address '44 ซอย 3 Tambon Mak Khaeng, Mueang Udon Thani District, Udon Thani 41000' or simply say 'Wat Sunthorn Pradit'. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Songthaew (shared taxi)
Locate the nearest songthaew stop, which is typically found along major roads. You can catch a songthaew that is heading towards Mak Khaeng. Once you board, inform the driver of your destination, Wat Sunthorn Pradit, or show them the address '44 ซอย 3 Tambon Mak Khaeng'. The fare is generally affordable and the journey should take about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to get off when you reach the vicinity of the temple.
